Goulds Natural Medicine consists of an Apothecary and Clinic in central Hobart, Tasmania, and a Herb Farm in nearby Allens Rivulet. I have been managing the herb farm for 17 years now. Goulds Herb Farm is located in a rural area, about half an hour south of Hobart and surrounded by native Eucalyptus forest, with about a hectare devoted to over 80 species of medicinal herbs, producing nearly 1000kg of dried herbs a year almost all of which are used in the Apothecary and Clinic.
