Heal my Land. Heal Me.

ORICoop RESILIENCE FUND
What a shocking reality for ORICoop to have to reactivate our Resilience Fund for bushfires. Through fires, floods and other natural disasters this fund continues to support organic farmers across Australia. We will not give up or stop providing support that is the missing middle for organic farmers.
If you are an impacted organic farmer, grower or landholder please reach out; you can complete the EOI and one of our Resilience Fund team will be in touch.

From the Longwood fires to the Walwa fires in north-east Victoria, across to Skipton and Harcourt (to name a few) the true devastation is not even yet known but we know from past experience quantifying the damage takes time.
We are asking our community of organic eaters, farmers and investors to support the ORICoop Resilience Fund. You can donate directly via this link HERE. 100% of the funds raised will directly support organic farmers where it is needed most. 100% of the funds donated will get to these organic farmers for what they need most including:-
- Soil tests for remediation strategies
- Biological inputs for soil recovery
- Recovery advice tailored to organic operators
- Fodder transport for certified organic fodder (to retain their organic certification)
- Agistment and / or movement of stock to agistment on organic land
** For tax deductible donations to our Resilience Fund – please drop us an email for specific details.
If you are an organic farmer who is keen to assist please reach out to our Resilience Team. Ways to help include:-
- Moral support via phone for impacted organic operators
- Local Fundraisers or Admin/Social media savvy people
- Donations of hay or fodder to these fire affected growers
- Offers of agistment on certified organic land (to retain organic status)
If you are interested to help or support please drop us a line at admin@organicinvestmentcooperative.com.au to register your interest.
Other organisations we have found to be incredible for impacted landholders includes:-
- Blaze Aid for any fencing requirements (impacted landholders should register)
- Need for Feed for any non-organic stockfeed
- SXC (organic certifier) will waive audit costs to approved clients
Thanks to all who have helped in the past. We are sending our best wishes and hope to those impacted by these terrible fires.
Please be assured you are not alone. Go gently. We are happy to help where we can.
